Learning new language

First thing first, I want to talk about my expectations. At first, I thought that it might be easier than what I faced with. When I joined to my new team in Backbase and my coluegs joined me into company's slack, suddenly I found myself inside waterfall of information and data and I had to understand all of them. So, most of my energy was spending on understanding what the others say.

The other bad thing that I faced with was shopping, Because in The Netherlands stores all goods' labels are Dutch, so I compaletely had no idea about them. And at that time google translator saved me.

How I am improving my English skill

I am a visual learner person. It means in contrast to someone who can memorize things by hearing, I learn better by seeing things. I believe that learning pattern for each person can be different. And everyone has to find their pattern. My friend advised me to adopt my lifestyle to learn English and I did it by doing below steps:

• I listen to podcasts during going to office every day.
• Every day I memorize new words (4000 Essential English Words Collection) thanks Ankidroid App.
• I watch series with English subtitle every night.
• I have to speak everyday in meetings at office.
• I opened this blog to practice my writing skill.
• I watch YouTube free English courses for improving my grammar skill thanks ArnelsEverydayEnglish channel.
